PIIVeC staff and fellows attended an event in Liverpool to share knowledge on the Role of Vector Control in Disease Elimination.
The event was opened by Professor Hilary Ranson with sessions on Neglected Tropical Diseases and Malaria PIIVeC work package leader, Professor Charles Wondji chaired a session on Emerging Technologies and Opportunities. The final session on Future Challenges was chaired by PIIVeC work package leader, Professor Philip McCall and included presentations on Vector Control Policy by Dr Eve Worrall, PIIVeC work package lead, and Implementation of Vector Control in Malawi by PIIVeC work package leader Dr Themba Mzilahowa.
