Mark Fowler

Mark completed a BSc in Computer Studies at Liverpool John Moores University and began working on relational databases from 2006. He received an MA in Philosophy from the University of Liverpool in 2009. He then received a PGCE in Applied ICT and went on to teach the subject in secondary schools and colleges from 2010. He then combined his interests in Computing and Philosophy, undertaking a PhD under Manchester Metropolitan University’s Interdisciplinary Department from 2011, investigating accounts of meaning within AI. Staying in higher education, he moved into Edge Hill University’s Strategic Planning and Policy Unit in 2014, managing and analysing University student data for both internal and external reporting.
