Jessica has a background in social sciences and global health. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Management at Paris Descartes University, followed by a graduate degree in Public Health at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique in Rennes. Then, she obtained a MSc in Global Health through a joint program of the University of Maastricht (Netherlands) and the McMaster University in Hamilton (Canada). She has since worked on health-seeking behaviours of women in Benin, challenges with the health surveillance system during the Zika outbreak in Brazil, and on phase II clinical trials for an Ebola vaccine in Guinea (PREVAC study). During the PREVAC study, she was also involved in strengthening laboratory and medical staff capacity.
