Innocent Valea

Innocent has a background in pharmacy (BSc), and completed his MSc and PhD in health biology and medical sciences, respectively. He is the Deputy Head of the Clinical Research Unit of Nanoro (CRUN). He is a medical scientist with a specialization in clinical research and epidemiology of communicable diseases and malaria, in particular. He actively contributes to the design and implementation of research projects, including epidemiological surveys and clinical trials on drugs and vaccines for malaria control from phase II to IV. He has a expertise in managing research projects and implementing clinical trials at international standard, and contributes to the training of medical doctors and master trainees at the University of Ouagadougou through lectures and field supervision.
