Elizabeth Bandason

Elizabeth Bandason is Research Capacity Development Fellow (RCDF) based at Malaria Alert Centre at the Malawi College of Medicine. She is also a lecturer in Entomology at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources(LUANAR). Her research interests are in insecticide mode of action and resistance management. As a PIIVeC Fellow, Bandason is studying the efficacy of novel malaria mosquito control tools in managing resistant mosquitoes in Malawi. Her current focus is on Interceptor G2 nets, Piperonyl Butoxide pyrethroid treated nets and an indoor residual spray product Fludora Fusion.
