Eggrey Aisha Kambewa

Eggrey Aisha is a junior scientist based at the Malaria Alert Centre, Blantyre, Malawi. She holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Malawi in Education Sciences with a major in Biology. She is in the latter stages of completing her Master’s degree in Biological sciences (Medical Entomology) from the same university. Her thesis is focusing on the efficacy of Metofluthrin insecticide against malaria vectors in the Lake Chilwa Area, Southern Malawi. Eggrey is currently working with Evelyn Olanga on characterizing vector behavior and malaria risk in Malawi. Eggrey is interested in vector biology, ecology and development of novel tools in the control of malaria vectors.
